Jewish History Museum for Children

Children between the ages of 6 and 12 can get to know Jewish life and Jewish traditions in a playful way at the Jewish History Museum for Children. The children’s museum is housed in the Jewish Historical Museum and consists of three floors that are arranged as a home of a Jewish family. The Hollander family lives in this house. Father, mother and the three children each show in their own way what it is like to be Jewish.

Heijmerink Wagemakers realized the decors and interactives. The house of the Hollander family contains all kinds of rooms that are richly equipped with interactive elements. The talking wall tells stories from the past. The mouth moves lifelike and is synchronized in three languages (Dutch, English and Hebrew).
